Adobe recently announced a public beta version of Adobe Photoshop Express for free. Adobe Photoshop Express is a web application that allows user to upload and edit their photos, create gallery and share their photos.
Online Image Editing
The web application takes Adobe’s images editing technology which mean you can do all the image editing task online without installing Adobe Photoshop at user’s PC. Of course, the web edition of Photoshop is not as sophisticated as the PC version. With Adobe Photoshop Express, you can easily add effect to your photos and show off to your friends on your blog or Facebook. The online image editing from Adobe will be a attractive feature as user does not need to pay the high price software license and most of the photo sharing websites do not have this feature.
Free space
Each free Adobe Photoshop Express account comes with 2 Giga bytes of free space. Personally I think 2 Giga bytes of space is pretty small. Photos taken from a 2 days trip of mine can easily exceed the limit. If it can extend to a unlimited space with a small price, then it would be the best, like how Flickr done.
Free Registration
As mentioned, the registration is free but the membership currently is only limited to United State resident only. To browse the site, make sure you have installed Flash Player 9 and have a fast internet connection. The site comes with a lot of flash stuff and is a bandwidth hunger.
Visit the site here to sign up or have a test drive with the web application.
